Welcome to SGI UK Hampshire and the Isle of Wight!

SGI UK Hampshire and the Isle of Wight is part of SGI-UK - one of over 180 organisations throughout the world which together make up SGI (Soka Gakkai International).

Soka means the 'creation of value' and Gakkai means 'society'. SGI is the world-wide movement based on Nichiren Daishonin's Buddhism, and its teaching of Nam-myoho-renge-kyo, which encourages the development of the individual's greatest potential

Seeds of Change Exhibition Apr 2nd - 27th 2007
Portsmouth Library -

This award winning exhibition was first shown in Johannesburg in 2002 at the UN Earth Summit. The exhibition has appeared all around the world and encourages us to look at issues about providing education for a sustainable future.
The exhibition will be shown in Portsmouth through out April and we hope that many school children, parents, families and organisations will visit to see what each of us can do to change the future.
